Hi, I'm on Crystal XI R2.

I have a report, that doesn't save properly as Excel.
I want to hide the cell margins, so, it saves properly..
It's a standard report, with headers and sub-headers, but not a cross-tab.

My question is : Can we hide cell margins for a particular field?

Please help.

Try exporting the report to Excel Data Only format.

Also read the attached file on best practice for exporting to excel.

Thanks! But i need to save it with formatting..
I saw this article before, but it's a little difficult in my case.
Also, when a cross-tab report is created, we have an option to hide the cell margins.

Don't we have a similar option for a Standard report?

Crosstabs are completely different to database fields, text objects and headers and don't have margins.

If you could show us what your issue is we may be able to help further.
