Internet UP\Down Monitor Needed

I’m noticing our internet connection seems to be dropping for about 30 – 40 seconds at different times during the day recently.  Because the drop is so short, only a few IT users have noticed.

Before I escalate this issue, I’d like to provide stats on how many times a day this is happening and for how long.

I’m looking for a free tool that will ping an external address throughout the day and provide a graph or a log showing when and for how long the connection was dropped.

Please let me know if you know of any free tools that can do this.  Thank you.
