Internet UP\Down Monitor Needed

I’m noticing our internet connection seems to be dropping for about 30 – 40 seconds at different times during the day recently.  Because the drop is so short, only a few IT users have noticed.

Before I escalate this issue, I’d like to provide stats on how many times a day this is happening and for how long.

I’m looking for a free tool that will ping an external address throughout the day and provide a graph or a log showing when and for how long the connection was dropped.

Please let me know if you know of any free tools that can do this.  Thank you.

hi,

check out a ping tool called colasoft ping tool. allows you ping multiple destinations and will create a real time graph, but will also store the results and summarise.
