Backup and Restore WSUS 3.2
Does anyonw know how to backup and restore WSUS 3.2 on a Windows Server 2008 Standard?
Thanks.
Thanks.
The instructions should be the same as for WSUS 3.0, which are listed here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc720441%28WS.10%29.aspx
Well, actually, using 2008, you just need to back up the volume that your WSUS data and files are located on using Windows Server Backup Services. You'll need to add the Windows Server Backup Features on the server. From there you just need to reinstall WSUS and restore the folders listed in the above link after install.

The backup procedure for WSUS 3.0 uses Ntbackup.exe which is not available on W2K8.Is there a version for W2K8?
The available Windows Server Backup seems only to be able to backup the complete server. Or is it possible to just backup what's necessary to recover the WSUS services?
Thanks.
