Is there an option somewhere in the quick steps setup to save outside of outlook.  ie a network share or local c drive?  My goal would be to have a quick step to start the save proccess at the network share "g:\clients"  the user then navigates to the proper client and hits save.

How about simply dragging the item onto the folder?

Alternatively run the following code, (where mai is the mail item):

strsaver = "c:\deleteme\"
    set mai = application.activeexplorer.selection(1)
        If mai.BodyFormat = olFormatHTML Then
            mai.saveas strsavefolder & strSubject & ".htm", olHTML
        ElseIf mai.BodyFormat = olFormatRichText Then
            mai.saveas strsavefolder & strSubject & ".rtf", olRTF
        Else
           mai.saveas strsavefolder & strSubject & ".msg", olMsg
        End If

Thanks for the responses, it looks like the drag and drop feature should do the trick.  I was asking about the "quick step" option becasue I saw a webinar a while back that showed this proccess and I can't remember it.  I really dont want to get into the VB code if I dont have to.
