How can I make it so that my Lenovo T400 laptop (running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit) will always logon with my domain username and password by default? This laptop also is able to logon by using a finger swipe (fingerprint).

I need my laptop to always logon automatically, without me having to type in my username and password every time.

How can this be done?

If you are not concerned about security (and your IT/Network manager aren't either) then there are some registry settings that you can change. The exact changes vary depending on OS but here a link for how to do it in Windows 7.

If you sync your fingerprint to your domain you could use that and remain a little more secure than putting the information in the registry.

it is possible with regedit key
if domain password is expried after 72 day, you canniot log on any more..

Thank you for bringing up the expire password issue. That part slipped my mind apparently along with putting the link I referenced.  :(

My Win 7 now automatically logs on every time that Windows loads.
