Increase root partition in Iphone

Hi all,
I want to increase the root partition for my iphone without rejailbreaking the Iphone . it is have IOS 4.0.1 and i didn't need to reinstall all applications .
can any body help me how to increase the root partition it is now 750 MB and full i need to increae it .

open up iFile.  


Go all the way to back to /
a good file to move is /System it is fairly large (about 300MB i think) so that alone will add a significant amount to your root partition.
copy the file /System and move it to /var  (it may take a minute)
Then the dangerous part, go back to / and delete the file /System (this will also take a minute) DO NOT CLOSE IFILE OR RESPRING!!!
Hit Edit, +, call the new file System (case sensitive remember!!) and under attributes make it a "symbolic link"
Put /var/System as the link target and then you may close iFile and respring.

No so much a resize, as much as a 're-use' of the space you have available.
