Crystal reports doesnt' show date field

I'm using Crystal Reports 2008 Ver 12.2.0.290 the full version not the Visual Studio one.
In two separates reports I have sofe fields date, fields string, number...
In some machines all work well but in others the date or time fiels doesn't appear.
If I try to export to excel PDF the same and if I print the same.

Any idea?

Do you simply see a blank or do you see #####?

Are there supposed to be dates in the fields?

What format did you use for those fields?  If you used "System Default Long Format" or " System Default Short Format", that may be the problem.  From the CR 10 Help:

 > When you choose System Default Long Format or System Default
 > Short Format, the program uses the time and date formats from the
 > Regional Settings Properties dialog box in the Windows Control Panel.

If the format setting on some machines is different and doesn't fit in the field on the report, that might be the problem.  If the field format is one of the "system default" ones, try changing it to a specific format.  Or you could try checking, and if necessary changing, the Windows format setting on those machines.  Or you could try making the field longer, or turn on the "can grow" option in the field format.

Even if the rest of this doesn't apply, that last option (make the field longer or use "can grow") might be useful, just as a general diagnostic tool.  If, for whatever reason, the problem is that the date/time doesn't fit in the field, that should allow you to see what that value is.
