We've got a Canon IR 7086 that goes in to sleep after a certain number of hours of inactivity and then doesn't wake up remotely by trying to print to it, so we have to manually restart the whole machine. Is there some setting to resolve this issue? Thanks.

check firmware version :-

Service Mode> Copier> Display> Version

Then see if a newer version is available

this would always be my first port of call.

Disabling Multicast Discovery under Additional Functions resolved it.
