Hello

I need to control internet access in the company i work for. I tried to use Group Policies to add "Authorized Websites" into the Content Advisor in IE but i could not find a reliable way to achieve this.

My question is very straight forward. I need to install a Proxy to control employees internet access.

I would like to hear some suggestions from the experts.

Thank you

A good free one is OpenDNS.
http://www.opendns.com/
Other  Proxy include Bluecoat and Websense, both being equally good, with Bluecoat scoring a bit more on proxy part and Websense on content filtering. Both now comes as an appliance solution. Websense can also be installed on a windows server.
U can install Websense Contenet database on Bluecoat appliance, to give you a good solution

I use Websense Express. It's a good sound solution at a fair price. They claim it's the best but you know how that goes. I agree though it does a very good job. If you want a complete solution I would go with some type of filtering service. Group Policy just isn't robust enough to do what most enterprises require.
