Have they tried copying and pasting the URL to a browser rather than opening it from the email? What happens when the hold down CTRL and click on it simultaneously? Do you have a GPO policy in place that exhibits this type of behavior?

a user with xp pro, outlook 2003 has an email containing a hyperlink. &nbsp;when the user clicks on said link it causes outlook to disconnect and the login prompt will appear. &nbsp;I have been able to do duplicate this on my machine. &nbsp;is outlook sensing that this link could be suspicious and disconnecting from server ?

a user with xp pro, outlook 2003 has an email containing a hyperlink.  when the user clicks on said link it causes outlook to disconnect and the login prompt will appear.
