The certificate is invalid for Exchange Server Use

I have tried generating the CSR several times with different options and redid the cert on GoDaddy and I am still getting these errors when I install it.

what version of exchange are you using
exchange 2007
New-ExchangeCertificate -DomainName mail.contoso.com, autodiscover.contoso.com -FriendlyName CasCert -GenerateRequest:$True -Keysize 2048 -path c:\certreq.txt -privatekeyExportable:$true -subjectName "c=us, o=company name, l=city, s=state, CN=mail.contoso.com"

exchange 2010
use the management console
server configuration
highlight server and select new certificate

I am running Exchange Server 2010. I found out why. GoDaddy recommended that I disable their certificate in MMC. Well, this seems to cause the Exchange cert to not get validated because the root CA cannot be contacted. Once I enabled it, the cert worked. I am unsure why GoDaddy told me to do this since it prevented the cert to be available for Exchange.

I will follow up with them.
