Hi Sir,

Could you please help me in creating an edb file (Exchange server database file) or a mailbox with in a server 2007 through C++.  I have been trying through ADSI or CDOEXM . As I read somewhere that CDOEXM doesnt works with exchange server 2007. And ADSI have no option to create a mailbox.

Please help me out of creating a mailbox in exchange server 2007.

Hi davinder101,
.EDB is ESE database file to store mailbox data.
Can you please explain the situation where you need to create such a file so we can understand the requirement better.

Ya sure,

Actually currently I am able to fetch the individual mails and can be saved as MSG file , which are inside the edb file through MAPI. Now what I want is to save those mails into my own edb. I need to create a offline empty edb file just like the existing one,so that I can save those mails into that as a backup file.

Like there are APIs for creating pst files, Msg files, like that there might be any for edb.

Hope you might got my question.

Thanks for the reply.
