how to configure datasource for xdb.jar in weblogic 11g

i am getting the error
java.lang.ClassCastException: weblogic.jdbc.common.internal.RmiDataSource cannot
be cast to oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource

try using the weblogic console and do the JDBC connection setup for the required instance.
