VB2010 Hardware Requirements - Processor Speed

Why does microsoft state under 'Hardware Requirements" for VB2010 Professional at
say that the computer has to have a 1.6Ghz processor?

The reason i ask is because i have a Samsung X120 notebook with an Intel Pentium SU7300 1.3Ghz processor with 3Gb RAM.

Does this mean that VB2010 will not work at all on this computer? , or will it work, but just slowly?

More Likely I will Run fine. This are only requirements that Microsoft recommends.  But you should be fine. Dont worry

These are just recommendations, almost any machine from the last 8 years would work, although you would most likely notice a speed change in the build times, moving controls around, etc.

Yes it will work but slower than if you would have the recommended requirements. Make sure you get either the 32 bit or 64 bit according to your pc
