Move Ek2003 to 2007 Public Folders hangs

Hello All,

In process of a "migration" to SBS2008, I am trying to Move All Replicas via the ESM on the source server.

When I click on the move all replicas, the ESM hangs on "Propagating Properties To Subfolders"

I left it alone over night and it was still at the same place when I returned today.

Question is, I exported the Public Folders via Outlook...is there any other way to just blow it away and still be able to delete the public store and uninstall Ek2003 from the source?

Am I missing something else?

Thanks

Mark

Did you add the new server as a replica of the public folders?  I would add it as replica and allow Exchange to replicate to the new server.  Once you confirmed that all items are replicated to the new server (including system folders (free/busy, etc)) then remove the 2003 from holding a replica.

I can't seem to get to the free/busy folder. When I click on it, the ESM locks up. Same if I try properties.

In the rep status, all folders EXCEPT the free/busy show sync 2

Also the Outlook 2003/2007 users are getting a 0x8004010F

Again, back to my question:

Is there anyway to force remove the Exchange 2003 server?
