Jboss Server Password Change request.

Hi

We have customized the default login page which we get from Jboss Portal server.
We need to implement "Change Password" functionality and we need to give this feature direct to end user of Server, so that he can change whenever he want.

I request you to give me some guidelines/suggestions to implement this. Can any one from here give some directions to move in correct path?

Appreciate your response.

Cheers,
Yarabati

I suppose JBOss portal uses some login-config.xml file which provides an application policy for authentication. In this file it is using some login module. I propose to change this login module to  DatabaseServerLoginModule (see http://community.jboss.org/wiki/DatabaseServerLoginModule)
This module is based on two db tables. After that you can write some webapp (or jsp or ejb) which will do management of thos db tables.
