How do I change the save location or copy the export file on my Sonicwall TZ 180 wireless? I would like to save the configuration on my local computer but when I do an export it just seems to save the file. I do not know the location so I can copy it or get no option to save as.

You will need to permit downloads in your browser. Once you do that and click on export, it should give you the download question box on your pc, and ask where to put it.

If you initiate the "export" it should ask you for permission to do a download from the stie. Typically this pops up on the top of the browser window. You click to permit the download. Once you do this you will have to start over, that is click export again. You should then get the download box and questions.

From the screen you show above just click export, and you will get the prompt.

Just to verify, you are logged in as admin to the Sonicwall, correct? The next thing you should see is a pop up labeled "File Download". If things are slow this could take up to 30 seconds to display. If you don't get it, try disabling your windows firewall in case that is blocking it.

Yes I am logged on as the admin. The firewall was already off I am doing this from a Win 2003 Server. I just tried to do it from a laptop and the same thing happens. I went back to the server and I don't know why but all of a sudden it works, I get the popup and I am able to save to a location? I had tried saving that file at least 10 times today and never got the option to save to a location.

Thanks for the help I will except you first reponse as the answer
