OWA Authentication

I would like to know: If an email contains a link to a file hosted on a secure server (not the OWA webserver), is there any way to pass through the OWA login authentication to the hosting server?

In this case you are asking for the IIS authentication to trust the hosted-authentication

Might be some Share-point could be tried/tested but not the other hosted-servers (non-microsoft and non-iis).

Thanks to both of you. I will investigate the potential Sharepoint solution. I guess the same applies to Outlook Anywhere - regarding the authentication pass-through - y/n?
