Moto Droid issues with Exchange after Froyo 2.2 upgrade

I have a user with a Motorola Droid who I had connected to our Exchange server when they were running Froyo 2.0 and everything was working fine e-mail, contacts, calender updates etc.

Now that they have updated to Froyo 2.2, they keep getting messages about "Remote Security Administration" wanting access to the phone in case it is lost or stolen so that the Exchange information can be wiped remotely.  I continue to say that it is "OK" on the phone for this to happen, but the message keeps coming up.  I have tried removing the account from the phone and removing the device from the users OWA account and then reconnecting but that has not worked.

Email in 2.2 has a remote security administration built in which will enable the administrators to remotely wipe the phone in case the phone is lost. For some reasons, it is still buggy at times. You can use the following link to install a version of Email that has the feature disabled.

You need to have access to adb to remove the previous version and install the new version.
You do not need to root the phone as far as I know.
