How to whitelist a specific email address on Exchange server 2003, even though the ip is blacklisted??
Basically I have a woman who is using aol, and our server is blocking her emails due to the fact that the ips that i checked from her error msg's are blacklisted. I noticed that the ip's had changed every time she attempted to send an email using the webmail version of her aol email service. I just need to be able to allow her to send emails to people on our server until we can get this blacklist thing taken care of. So i guess my question is, how do i whitelist a specific email address on Exchange server 2003, even though the ip is blacklisted??
The blacklist is handled at the ISP level, it will never get to your exchange server. You need to handle the blacklist issue. The only work-around I know is to have her send it to another address that you may have have like gmail or hotmail or have her send it by another address that she may have.
What RBL are you using as content filtering on your exchange server?
