Using jQuery I have written a css class that changes the layout when hovering over a select option element.

$("#MaterialsList > option").hover(function () { $(this).toggleClass("hoverSelectOption"); }, function () { $(this).toggleClass("hoverSelectOption"); });

Open in new window

In firefox this is working perfectly, but in IE6 and IE7 nothing is showed.

Is there a solution for this problem?

Thx

You can try to go to jQuery's official website to ask for it.
Or you can update the jQuery version so that there are new fixes
