I am searching for a development component with C/C++ (Windows OS, Visual Studio 2008 IDE) interface to show an on-screen keyboard with configurable layout and sizeable virtual keys.  The component will be used with a touch-screen machine which has no keyboard attached.

For initially research, the cost of the component is not a factor, so please indicate free and licenced alike.

Exactly what was asked for.  The linked article reminded what a PITA inter-window programming is & I ended up writing my own extra form within the program. ;)
