sharepoint down with KB link?
Our server is down with the following message:
Server error: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink?LinkID=96177
Any thoughts? Nothing has changed as far as I know. I'm continuing to look into this, but was wondering if any one else has seen this before? We have 2 load balanced front ends and ***BOTH*** of them throw the same error. So given that they BOTH throw this error, it almost makes me wonder if it's db related. Any thoughts?

ASKER
so resolved the problem by running
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\BIN>STSA
DM.EXE -o upgrade -inplace -url http://siteurl
Does anyone know what would have caused this, and how to figure that out? I assume some errant update must've been run, but everyone says that nothing changed on the server. How can I really look through the details to find if something was run last night?
Thanks.

The schema version (3.1.8.0) of the database Content_Accountiung on CDB01 is not consistent with the expected database schema version (3.1.11.0) on WFE02. Connections to this database from this server have been blocked to avoid data loss. Upgrade the web front end or the content database to ensure that these versions match.
