two connection strings for sqldatasource

Hello:

Is it possible to have two connection strings for sqldatasource?

I have a Select statement that Inner Joins two databases. When I run the page I get an invalid column error, however; when I run the statement in sql management studio it runs fine. So I am thinking that the error is caused by not connecting to the second database.

Didn't think it was possible. If you don't find any joy see if you can use this workaround.

are you able to create a stored procedure which runs this query joining two databases?
if so then could you not set one up and use that? Of course they can be parameterised as well
