Laptop downloaded a 14MB Powerpoint but desktop will not. Both running XP Pro and outlook 2003.

Just like it says. Weird. The laptop will download the 14mb atachment but the desktop will not. Desktop only shows the atachment being 2kb. Theses are the CEO's computers, so im not infront of them at the moment.

Hi

Could be something as simple as insufficient disk space on the desktop or mailbox size limits being exceeded?  CEOs, at least in my experience, tend to keep a gazillion GB of emails in their box and don't archive :-)

Symantec was the problem. Apparently there is a known issue with it stripping the atachment on some and not on others.
