Windows Server 2003 Event error 2089

I keep getting this error message and would like some insight on how to fix it.

Type warning
EventID: 2089
Source NTDS Replication

This directory partition has not been backed up since at least the following number of days.

Directory partitions
cn=configuration, DC=domain,DC=com

You will need to take an Active Directory Backup. The warning will not stop until you do so.

Ran the system state backup and message went away.
