i want to call a javascript function on insert mode of form view only.
By registering script on the page it only call it once when first tme page gets load but it doesnt work on postback and even by putting it into some condition like checking formview current mode, it doesnot call the javascript function. I also tried it by calling it on onload of the window but no luck.

Can somebody share the trick to do it??

Unbelievable! :)

Did you try to put it inline at the end of the page ? Can we see it ?
Try too :

window.onload = function() {
// content of the script
}
