hello experts !

we have a discontinued xerox 7132 copier. it only has drivers upto vista 64bit

the vista drivers works great on our 2008 SBS server and we are able to print using 64 windows 7 pro machines  however the double sided functionality is missing now. and i`m not sure how to get it back.

unfortunately this copier is located in london and i`m located in singapore but i have remote admin access to  make necessary changes. and i have to rely on others eyes and ears.

so i need your guidance on two things
1) double sided print driver for X64
2)  double sided print driver for X86

p.s - i tried the global print driver but that didnt work. sucks.

Unfortunately, Xerox itself lists the printer as "no support for Windows 7" in the compatibility matrix at http://download.support.xerox.com/pub/drivers/Compatibility_Matrix/other/win7/en/Windows7_Matrix.pdf  So, no surprise that setting up is a headache...

But, double sided printing should be supported in the Vista 64 bit driver and the 32 bit driver.  Have you enabled duplex functionality?
Windows 7 OS:
Click on the [Start] button, and then click on [Control Panel].  The Control Panel window will be displayed.
Double-click on the [Devices and Printers] icon.
If the View by option is set to "Category", click on the [View devices and printers] link under the Hardware and Sound section.
Right-click on the printer icon, and then select [Properties]. The Properties window will be displayed.
Click on the [Options] tab.
Click on [Duplex Module] from the Items section.
Select [Available] from the Settings for Duplex Module pull-down menu.
Click on the [Apply] button.
Click on the [OK] button

This should enable duplex using the Vista 64 bit drivers.

Hi Ravidhu,

How to you install the driver on the SBS2008 server? I am setting up the same printer on a Windows 2008 R2 server and it didn't allow me to install the 32bit drivers, 64bit was OK for both PCL and PS.

Thanks
