Hi

A thought would be that you have selected only to receive message headers for large emails in your options.  To fix this:
Go to Tools | Send/Receive | Send/Receive Settings | Define Send/Receive Groups... from the menu.
Highlight the group.
Click Edit.
Go to the desired account in the Accounts list.
Make sure Download complete item including attachments is selected under Folder Options.
Remove checkmark from Download only headers for items larger than xxx
OK
OK

There is no set limit in the Outlook program itself, the limit is set by your email provider. Do you connect to an Exchange server for email, or use one of the online services/webmail?
