Citrix Client Installation Failure

I've got a PC that's been using the Citrix Web Client and our Web Interface site for quite a while.  All of the sudden it's decided to die.  I've been having particular trouble reinstalling the client.  Each time I try to install the client software it fails.  In the Application event log there's this:

Product: Citrix online plug-in (Web) -- Error 1721. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action: Reg_Wfcrun32.827545C6_7013_4DE1_8E6C_DAEE4C57F54A, location: C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICA Client\, command: "C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICA Client\wfcrun32.exe" /regserver

Any help is appreciated.  This has been a real challenge to figure out.  I've scanned the PC to make sure there's no malware or registry issues.  I've also reinstalled IE8 just to be safe.  All has been for not - the issue persists.

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion.  The simple msiexec reset mentioned in the article did not do the trick.  I still need to work through MS's second suggestion.  I'll post back.
Epic fail.  Both suggestions in MS's article have done me no good.  At this point it's not worth pursuing.  The PC is old and needs to be removed/replaced anyway.  500 points to basraj for being a nice guy and leaving me a comment.
Thanks.
