trigger program when printing occurs

Hello all

I would like to create a watched folder that will trigger when a print job is added.

We all know that once a job is printer to a server a spool file is created. So i was thinking maybe a watched folder program to watch that spool file

However what if im monitering only one queue, or even a set of queues. I dont want the program to go firing when someone prints to a printer i havent specified

So can you assign a spool folder to a printer?

Let me know if I have understood your question correctly.
You want to launch a program or do something in response to a print job added to a specific printer?
