Can the 'Personal Virtual Desktop' tab in AD on an R2 2008 server be used with a VM server ?
i.e we have an R2 2008 server which runs 4 Hyper-V servers, can i specify a server in here so that (for example) if usera logs on it will then direct them to a desktop on servera and if userb logs on then it will direct them to serverb like Terminal Services or does this need to direct only to VM's from Windows XP or Vista etc ?
In other words does the tab in AD relate only to a client OS or can i use it with server OS's as well ?
Hope this makes sense.

It is all explained here:

You cannot specify a server, only Windows Client OSs are supported.
