Java Syntax Errors

Hello,

I have an issue on 4 of my terminal servers where we are getting excessive syntax error messages from Java, and it is happening every time any java script starts.

What makes this particularly interesting is that I get these immediately when I try to verify my java install from java.com.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling java completely but I still keep getting the syntax errors right on java's website.

We are running Windows Server 2003 in a terminal server configuration, and the test have been done using IE7.

Any ideas?

Here's a screen shot of what I am getting. This happens right after I try to verify that Java is installed.

Actually, I just figured it out by searching another forum. If you go into the Java settings under the control panel, click on the network settings button and set it to direct connection rather than use the web browser settings. I've attached a screenshot for reference.
