Connection To MSSQL

I am developing a business application for the ipad.  I am very new to programming in the xCode environment and need to connect to a sql database on a server.  I have installed the ODBC administrator and downloaded the sql drivers and even connected to my db through the ODBC administrator on the mac, however I need to pull data into my application.  How can I add something like a tableview into the xCode project and set the connection to go and get data from my sql server??

You installed an ODBC driver on iPad?

iOS likes sqllite. If you talk about a small on-board database, it will be very easy for you to use sqllite.
If it is a big database, you can arrange a web access to this database. So the iPhone application may have network access and retrieve the data from the server.
