Group name in page header SSRS 2008R2

I am using table in report and doing grouping based on employee name. Whenever the employee name changes in hte group header ,it has to update that employee name in hte TextBox in page header. I tried the expression =First(reportItems!Employeename.Value), but it is not working for all pages,because some pages have only details and group header are in previous pages. How
to update the textbox in the page header with current group employee name.

The best way to handle this is to completely delete the page header and then using the toolbox to the left of the designer, create a header off of the body and then your update should work.

Header columns are usually static and are unaffected by query/update changes.

My report should have the page header. I can't do what you suggested and I am not updating the text box in the page header with column header.
I do want to update the textbox in the page header with the group name. I did grouping with employee name.Whenever the new group starts the group name has to showing up in the text box. Is there any expression to display the group name in the textbox.
I tried this expression =First(reportItems!Employeename.Value) and it displays the first occured employee
name in that page in page header's text box. But if details span multiple pages and group header is not
there in that page no employe name is displayed in the text box.

Any adivces please.

I tried this. Set the group properties in property pane, Page Break at the END of the group and PageName property to the Group variable. I refer the Page Name in the text box in Page Header as  Globals!PageName.
Now it is updating the Group name in Page Header.

This is a good solution, but it only works in R2.
