Hello,

We are in need of an inexpensive graphics card for server running server 2008 R2 with a free  PCI Express x16 2.0 slot.

Hello networkadmin, these are Creative Audio cards I dont know what happened there, you asked for graphics cards oh dear,

ok here's my recomended graphics cards
Nvidia of course I have a 250 GT Gigabyte nvidia, I like the Gigabyte brand the best most reliable no heat issues, but do please shop around as prices differ
