I've got an issue and cannot find a solution for it.

We're using ActiveCGM 7.1 with IE7 for our environment.  It's an active x control and local intranet security is "enable" for everything to help troubleshoot.

Through the web browser I can navigate our drawing library and open cgm files.  I can put a cgm file on my local C: drive and open it no problem.  However, if I put this same cgm file on a network share and open it either via networked drive map or \\servername\share\filename  it will not open.

I get the yellow exclamation in IE and it basically says object expected.  I assume its not a security issue as I have full access to all network resources.

There is 2 parts to the error.  You can see by the "previous" button.

Again, just to clarify, I can open this or any .cgm file from anywhere on my local hdd.  I cannot open it from any network location or folder share.

Thanks for looking into this.

Resolved.  Had to install IE8.  Files now open from anywhere.
