Exchange Database Mount Error 218;   ..can anyone help me with this one?

the copy of database 'Mailbox Database 1836089144' on this server experienced a performance problem. Failover returned the following error: "There is only one copy of this mailbox database (Mailbox Database 1836089144). Automatic recovery is not available.". For more detail about the failure, consult the Event log on the server for other storage and "ExchangeStoreDb" events.

Can i just duplicate this DB? I'm fairly new to exchange. Thanks in advance.

you get this typically when you have created a DAG (Exchange cluster) and you have not added a copy of your database

just go to EMC -> enterprise config -> mailbox -> database management right click on the database and select add database copy

and select the seconnd server

Yeah, you didn't say if it was a cluster....
