Setting up a ColdFusion 8 datasource with a SQL Server 2008 box using SSL

Has anybody out there successfully set up a datasource in the coldfusion 8 administrator that connects to a sql server 2008 instance with SSL?

It's the SSL part that is turning out to be a problem. The SQL Server I'm trying to connect to must use ssl but I can not connect to it.

I have all the info for the SQL Server login I'm just not able to successfully create the datasource name in the CF Admin.

I tried using the native SQL Server driver and also using a JDBC driver jTDS.

Has anybody done this?

Have you tried MS JDBC driver? if not try it..
Are you using windows or sql authentication to connect to sql?

I'll try the MS JDBC driver today. I'm using SQL Server authentication for the connection.
I'm guessing it's kind of unusual to connect to a SQL Server via SSL.
There really isn't too much info about it online.
