VB.net Check mailbox using MAPI

Hi, I am writing an application that will need to connect to a MAPI (MS Exchange 2007) email box, grab the contents with attachments, store in database and then move the mail to a "processed" folder. I'm having trouble getting started with the connect to MAPI part. Any suggestions?

I took a look at this:

but I'm just not a C guy and I can't even seem to get the DLL to reference correctly in my project.

I'm using VS 2010.

So, I opened a ticket with Microsoft on this and determined that the best (and pretty much only way) to handle this is to use Exchange Web Services (when using Exchange 2007+).
