Can't get Entourage 2004 and 2008 clients to connect to recently migrated Win 2008 SBS server
Help.
In process of migrating Win 2003 SBS to a Win 2008 SBS Premium server.
All Outlook clients including Outlook 2003 and 2007, Blackberry services, Iphone, Entourage 2004 and 2008 used to connect to the old Exchange 2003 server ok.
Now they can all connect to the Exchange 2007 server except for the Entourage Clients and it's doing my head in.
The Entourage users can all log on using outlook web services in Safari via https://mail.%domain%.com/exchange as a workaround but need to be able to use Entourage.
THe Entourage clients start up with the warning
":Unable to establish a secure connection to mail.%domain%.com because the server name or IP address does not match the name or IP address on the server's certificate."
WHen i apply the exchange account settings i get the following error"
"Entourage cannot connect to the Exchange server.
Explanation " Verify that your Exchange aaount detail settings are correct" Error -18597.
Actual domain name above has been amended to %domain% for privacy.

I wasn't able to get Entourage Exchange Account Setup Assistant to work. The problem that i narrowed down, is got to do with DNS and SSL Certificate. You may need to use a certified SSL like GoDaddy and setup a SRV record in your authorized name server . I have not tried it yet as there were other more important issues that i need to work on. And the clients were happy with the current setup.

thanks for the suggestion. I got the Entourage clients working setting up webdav even though the Entourage Setup Wizard failed.
I find it amazing how manual the setup was.
It would be great when setting up the server if one of the Exchange Account Setup Assistant setup wizards prompted if Entourage clients were to be connecting and to install and enable webdav.
One further question if i may? Were you able to get the Entourage Exchange Account Setup Assistant to run properly.
