This sounds like it could be the Citrix and Cisco announcement. They have never played nicely together, suddenly Cisco announces that Citrix will be the Virtual Desktop component for their Unified Computing Solutions. Formerly it was vmware, now they suddenly change and take their relationship deep, to the point of joint support, meaning one support contract for both soultuions. Pretty tight integration.
Cisco took it so far as to say that Citrix is the VD leader.

“With Cisco the leader in enterprise networking and the creator of the industry-leading Cisco Unified Computing System, and with Citrix the leader in desktop virtualization, the joint solution provides the centralized, virtual desktop environment that organizations need.” Page 18

Wow,suddenly Citrix stock jumps 15 dollars! Wish I had bought some a few weeks ago.

Hmmm, now that I read your question and ponder it further, maybe its more toward the ability to provision a citrix virtual desktop or applicaiton enviornment on the fly, and offer it from any type of a cloud (hosted or your own cloud). Because of their provsioning server component, you can allow on demand creation of any type of virtual machine and then of course on demand expiration. So for instance I could goto a website and say, create me a windows 7 desktop with office and whatever other apps for 1 week, an hour later I have my VD with apps and can start using it from any device.  That would certainly allow for dynamic computing services.
But, like you, searching on the term itself or DCS (other than Data Collector Set which is referencing a traditional xenapp farm and the different zones with DC's)
