Message tracking in exchange 2010.

Hello,

Please help me in tracking mails sent out by my Exchange 2010 organization. When i click on message trcking in EMC it opens web mail window and i really dont understand what username and password has to be given their. Previously we were using exch 2003 and their in i was able to track mails using tools-->message tracking and for any user i need. Please help me in understanding this.

You should give the same username\password of the mailbox to get his level of access for the ECP virtual directory

which username and password ? and also how can i track at ther server level which we use to in exch 2003

all users have the ability to track their messages with exchange 2010 utilizing the ecp vdir
you'll want to login with an account the is a member of organization management to track for someone

you can also use the exchange management shell
get-messagetrackinglog -server <servername> -start "9/24/2010 8:00 AM" -end "9/24/2010 9:00 AM" -messagesubject "Subject here" -sender someone@yourdomain.com
