How do I pass name/value pairs to a flash component? I'm assuming I have to use javascript and flash params?

example: www.mydomain.com/?name1=value1&name2=value2&name3=value3

want to know values of value1,value2 and value3 in the flash using AS3.

Thanks!

Have a look at this:
http://www.permadi.com/tutorial/flashQueryString/indexAs3.html
http://blogs.adobe.com/pdehaan/2006/07/using_flashvars_with_actionscr.html

On this one.
http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2110835

scroll down to section:
Accessing FlashVars and HTML Parameters

Basically it is this:
root.loaderInfo.parameters.myVar;
0
