Windows MSI Error 2203 (similar to KB 888310)

Hi,

Any ideas how to resolve this issue on Windows 2003 Standard SP2 ?  I've Googled and turned up with nothing.

Full error is :

Error 2203.Database:  <PATH_TO_MSI>. Cannot open database file.  System error -2147287035

This occcurs when I'm trying to run : msiexec /a  xyz.msi /p xyz.msp

That will teach you not to listen to Google.

Solved the problem myself.

Missed a step :

 1/  msiexec /a  
2/  msiexec /a  xyz.msi /p xyz.msp
