how to set a jpg image to transparent background in PSP X2 ?

Hi

Using Paint Shop Pro X2 and trying to set the background to transparent and failing miserably. If I position the image on my web page I want to see the underlying background color through.

If you can help, I'd appreciate it. Please see my image attached.

This cannot be done with jpg file format. It can be done with gif file format. Check out this link and see if this helps.
