I have a rule I want to redirect the e-mail from a certain domain and not to reach the intended recipient.
Is this even possible?

You can use Sender Filtering to archive or drop messages from a specific domain

Open Exchange System Manager
Go to Global Settings
Right click Message Delivery
Go to Sender Filtering

click on "Add", type address that you want to filter ( *@hatethisdomain.com), mark  "archieve filtered messages"

If you need something more sophisticated then you would need some 3rd party product....
