Problem with Centreon/Nagios default installation. SNMP SNMPD

Hi all, Brand new installation of centreon/nagios system on a ubuntu 10 and as the first use there is three errors, please see attached image!

By searching on the net, i noticed this is most likely a problem with SNMP, snmpd.conf...

I need the first steps to fix this...

please help.

Hi manolocruz

First of all, why do you use SNMP to check your own monitoring server, while there are local checks which directly get their information from your linux system?

To be able to help you, please insert the command definitions and de service definitions of these 3 checks. My first clue is, that you try to check a MIB entry that doesn't exist like that on the host. Try to do an SNMP Walk (snmpwalk -v 2c -c public 192.168.0.15  [something like that]) and filter out the MIB entry you want to check. Then edit your service definition to check that specific entry.

first i want to make it work on the local machine, then to make check in our systems firewall, ssl-vpn, routers switches etc..
it is a production system

Please answer the following questions:

1: Is the status of your system and the error still the same?
2: Did you try to use local checks? If not, please do so!
3: Did you try to snmpwalk your monitoring machine? If not, please do so!
