Exchange 2010, using EMS to export mailbox to pst

I have an exchange 2010 box and I'm using the exchange management shell to export a mailbox to a pst.  I'm getting an error, see below:

do you have sp1 installed? if not, did you install outlook 2010 on the exchange server

I do have SP1 and I do have outlook 64-bit installed on the server

do you have permissions to the mailbox with the account this is running under?

possibly not. i'm logged in as admin, but this user is an admin too

try adding the mailbox permission and try again

add-mailboxpermission cliff -user admin -accessrights fullaccess

done, even took cliff out of admin group...

if you have uac enabled on the machine this is running from, try starting the console as administrator

the cmdlet executes so it shouldn't be an rbac issue

i launched the EMS as administrator.  no joy.  same error as before.

in the error, it's reporting the mailbox as zero size.

is the admin your logged into part of the Domain Admins group?  By default, the Domain Administrators cannot use this since there’s an explicit ban by the Domain Admins group because of security reasons, so if your use is part of the Domain Admins group this could be your issue.

I am logged in as the Administrator and the user I am trying to export is just a regular user.
