I have been noticing Event ID 1000 on a daily basis in the event viewer of my domain controller.<br />

The description of the event is : The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Management Console ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: mmc.exe, 5.2.3790.3959, ntdll.dll, 5.2.3790.4455, 0001bd02.<br />

Kindly suggest how to get rid of this error.<br />

MMC error ; Event ID 1000

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server.
